Im going to build by soon to be niece or nephew a little table and chair set. But Im unsure what is stronger, Dowels or Biscuits? Mainly for the chair backs and such...

Bisquits. About 20 years ago, Caveman made a quilt rack using large dowels because we didn't have a bisquit joiner. Several of those joints have since failed. The bisquit gives you a much larger gluing surface.
Besides that, it's what Norm would do.
