was thinking more in line with a seal....too bad they don't thin out that population at the mouth of the columbia come springer season.

Man I vacation at the spot of the attack. I am not going swimming in those waters again. I knew Seaside had some huge blue sharks but great white.

i work on the south coast and i am an occupational diver, one would be very surprised at the amount of whities on the oregon coast. there were at least 20 sightings last winter in the small harbor i work out of

After reading this I had to go Googling.. Notice that the "lure" used to attract the Whites they tagged resembles a surf board. Note to self - Do not surf in areas where seals and Great Whites are present.
