A lot! That's one of the requirements ... everyone is required to bring one bottle of their fav. single malt to the 'do.' As many of these folks willl arrive as early as Wedndesday, and stay until the following week, a lot of it does get 'consummed' along the way.

Timeing of the Charity clinic is in early March as this is the 'heighth'of our winter steelhead fishery on the upper Rogue.

You can see by the photo's that the river (as a norm) is really quite low-flow. But timing can get you in trouble, but we've dodged that bullet so far.

The area the fellows are casting (where they're standing) is now under at least 8 foot of water. worse yet (or so I've been told) is the river has moved 50+ yards back into the 'tree line' behind where the guys are working the water.

Where they're standing may now be the 'far bank.' Gotta get up there and take a look.

Actually do have photo's of 'spey boys.' Was looking at some photo's from a year ago on the Chetco. Photo's were from a trip Brian Yates and I did back December (?) of 2004.

Pictures of Brian and I teaching a couple of local youngsters how to spey cast. Boys loved it a lot; to the point I sent them over a full spey rod "kit.' Add fly and you're good to go.
