Isn't that on the list of things I learned in Kindergarten?

Ouch indeed!

What really sucked was continuing to crack open rocks and smashing it again in the same night!!!!! Oh my poor thumb. It will never be the same. A positive though, it didnt hurt as bad the second time.

Kindergarten was a long time ago and I didnt pay attention.

Manicure? Oh no, that aint happening. What would my fellow rednecks say. I would be outcast and thrown to the metrosexuals never to leave my lawn un mowed again.

Micro the first thing I learned as a young choker setter logger was to let someone else hold the marlin spike when splicing cable....I always volunteered to swing the hammer after my first educational experience. The same might apply to splitting rocks.

It's not too bad, after the throbing you can feel all the way up to your elbow stops...

Yeah, once you bash it the first time, you've pretty much got the pattern down and are good for a couple more.
