Great find! I've been fortunate to see some of his work in person, and it is indeed impressive. Wish I had the time that it takes to be that good...can you imagine spending 400 hours on a piece for a competition?!

Dave sets the standard that the rest of us are judged by. I'm fortunate that Dave is a good friend of mine. As good an artist he is, he's an even better friend. He's a former world champion yet he's as humble as he can be. He has helped me tremendously, critiquing my work, sharing methods, etc, and never asked anything in return. Yet when I come up with something new, he never treats me as if there's nothing he can learn from me. There're very few fish guys that have as much knowledge of their subjects as Dave. I can't say enough good things about this guy and his work.
