i am curious if any one could taxidermy a sea urchin with all of its spines and color. under water harvest of sea urchins is my occupation and i think that it would be neat to have one " mounted".

I have seen them as ornaments so I am sure it is pretty easy. I would think all you have to do is poke a hole in the bottom and a small hole in the top and hang it. Gravity should do the rest. I will have to give it a try. Next time I go diving I will pick up a couple.
