I was sorting my rocks that I have collected over the years and came across some leaf fossils what is the best way to make them stand out after cleaning

little oil will show what they look like or you could varnish them. I recommend the oil to see how they look first.

I used to find maple leaf and fern fossils in an old outhrust of rock on the WA Deschutes River, like when I was 16
