Only 15 ? I have a whole shelf in my closet, and another shelf in the closet downstairs, and a box full in my storage room. I'm a hat junkie. Got a bunch of cool fishing hats. Mostly I like my Bo's Fishing (Alaska), Reeltime Fishing (Idaho), TFO, and Ross Reels hats.
Some day I might have to sell some on e-bay or something.

I just can't throw away a lucky hat. Even one that used to be lucky, because it might have some luck still in it somewhere.

Well, guys, to be truthful, I have more hats than I NEED, but not as many as I WANT!
Right now, my FAVORITE hat is a "convertible" Browning Jones Hat, which means it can "convert" from Camo to Blaze Orange. Similar to a British "Deerstalking" cap, it has a brim to keep the glasses dry in the rain, but the brim all around can be folded down in the rain so it keeps your whole head dry. I wear it both fishing and hunting.
My other favorite is a red and hat with "U.S. Marine Corps" across the front in gold, and a Marine Corps "Globe and Anchor" Insignia just below, also in gold. (And no, I don't have my sergeant stripes on it - we still used "magic marker" on our jackets to show our rank.) I generally wear it around town for shopping in inclement weather. I meet more vets with it - just last week, met an "old breed, original" WWII Marine 1st Division vet, who had served in Guadalcanal, Peleliu, and Okinawa! And he is STILL going strong, and looks well!
And yeah, I still have my ol' "Gung Ho" Utility hat.
Anyway, I have MORE hats from most firearms manufacturers in more camo patterns and blaze orange than you can shake a stick at, plus a "classy" black Remington cap that says, "Remington puts the BALLS back into BALLISTICS".
(Anyway, a favored old hat is "just enough" for most of us.)

If I counted all my baseball and golf hats I would win hands down.

at one point I had over 600 hats
I decided that was a bit excessive and sold or gave away all but 20 or so.

I 'sported' my old Sage ball cap for darned near 30 years; went from a dark brown to a dark white over time. Now we have a 'God, I've just got to have THAT hat.'
Biggest tackle store in Chilawack (sp?) BC is called "Fred's Custom Tackle." What could I do???
