I gota seat to fish halibut on opening day out of Westport. Would like to be able to fish after getting a good night's sleep. Last time I fished out of Westport I slept for a few hours in the parking lot next to the processing plant.
Any recommendations for a hotel/motel in Westport? Prefer something cheap. Only really need a bed and bathroom. Saw the B&B there.

The charter shops usually have a selection of accommodations to fit all needs.

Saw those: $79-$180/night $75-$190/night Another place $150/night
The parking lot is not so bad getting there at 2-3am. But that only leaves about 90 minutes to sleep.

Iso and others when looking for cheap accomadations checkout the RV parks in the area you want to visit.
Iso try this link http://nwcoast.com/profile/default.asp?city=westport&id=617
If that doesn't pan out search for Westport Washington RV parks. Most all RV parks have rental accommodations that are way inexpensive.

Whatever you do make sure you have reservations. I worked desk at the Chateau and every single room in Westport/Grayland/Tokeland is booked on high traffic fishing days. Especially during salmon season sundays. The Chamber of Commerce is the best place to check on rates and availability (and cleanliness!) There are a few very nice gals that work there and will answer any questions you have. http://www.westportgrayland-chamber.org/ or 800-345-6223 I wouldn't suggest sleeping in the fisherman's lot. The police are sure to knock on your window if you are there long. They have gotten real stickler on that. Let me know if you have any other questions. We live in the area and probably can find the answer.

A very helpful Chanber of Commerce website. Good job to whomever put that together. Even saw a few getaways for kidless weekends for 2 <G>.
Thanks Mrs Headhunter...
