Seriously though, the derby info is here but be warned that their website is about as bad as it can get. http://www.lpoic.org/derby_info.htm
In an nut shell it is April 29th through May 7th, with prizes for the biggest Kamloops and Mackinaw. Not big payouts this year, but $3000 for 1st place in both categories isn't bad.

Quite a few people can wind up competing for the skunked award. Especially if the weather turns nice and the lake goes flat.

OK, I am ready now. Three trips to the grocery store and a couple to the tackle shop. Not just to pay for the gas to get there! Cripes!

OK, I am outta here for a week or so. Wish me luck in getting the old fishing truck across the state and back in one piece, and without any repairs.
Time to go to Idaho and show 'em how it is done and that the local boy hasn't gone soft just 'cause he moved to the city.
