Westport bottom fishing

I'm thinking serious about heading to Westport for a charter boat on Saturday or Sunday to stock up on some rockfish & ling cod. Anybody wanna come along?

Good idea but your a week too soon. What charter are you thinking about and what are they costing? Have you went out on any of the light tackle rock fish boats?

I'd be in for a charter rockfish/ling trip, just not this weekend....sounds like a trip in the making....

I've fished on most of the boats from Westport Charters & have a couple of favorites. Next weekend would be cool.

Bottom fishing is around $100. Rampage and Slammer out of Deep Sea Charters use light tackle. Not sure who else does out of the other offices.
