shrimping new
      #244971 - 05/07/06 10:14 AM

Hello All:

I figured I would see how shrimping went on Sat. How did people do in general? I avoid most shrimping now due to the crowds.

Thanks for the info

What crowds? The launch was almost deserted.

Six limits long before time ran out.

I had a great time Saturday with the crew on AuntyM and Caveman's boat. I'm sure glad the weather on Saturday was not like it ended up on Sunday. Wednesday should be nice.
Those shrimp are really good tasting. Next time I'll post a picture of a plate of empty shells.

Well, sounds like I should have went out and caught me some spot shrimp. It has been so crowded the last few years I just stay away. And now, after last night, it does not look like I can go out for a few weeks. It would be hard pulling my pots since I drove a srcew driver into my palm last night. FYI...the new ER at Harrison in Bremerton is nice.

Thanks for the report!

Shrimp meal #1 was Thai Hot Sweet and Sour Soup......the 4 little tiny red thai peppers that went into the soup required gloves and a mask to clean and chop up before adding to the soup.

Shrimp meal #2 Shrimp in Burmese Green Curry Sauce required the processing of 8 of those lil 'smokers and 4 jalapeno's for heat balance.
