Were into our third week of the season and after a slow start for kings, things have picked up considerably the past 3 days. Were getting alot of 30's a handful of 40's and our 1st 50 was brought in this morning, 56.2lbs. King fishing should continue to improve through the rest of the month and into July when the "big" boys move in. I'm on my way to a Crown Royal party on the dock, I'll try to post a pic of the 56 tomorrow.
Side note, Mitch (Navigator) is doing well and catching alot of fish! + =

Sounds like great fun and growing excitement as the kings roll in.
Glad to hear that Mitch is doing well. Looking forward to pics.
Crown Royal party sounds good to me, and CR provides such nice looking reel bags.

What have you and Dan been up to, Grizz? Saw your post the other day with Dan pictured but you've been awfully quiet the past few days. Hope you guys are getting more action day by day. Tell Dan that Team Old Phart isn't worried about his getting them all before we get there...better that he weed out the dinks before we arrive on the scene with the heavy tackle. We're locked, cocked, and ready to

AKKINGS is a guide at waterfall along with first year guide navigator (mitch) from the board. I look forward to seeing pictures of mitch after his first 50lb nook.. it is guide tradition to give them a bath

thanks marty, i just asked because i met several off the waterfall fleet in my one year work stay in craig. i was diving urchins and cukes up there, most beautiful place by far i have ever been, he, he i worked on the black boat, shenanegan, that was briefly parked on the wrong side of the green can out side of craig, that might ring a bell to a few of the water fall skippers, a laugh was had by most, it would have been ugly at low tide.... that's why you don't let your tender drive the boat.. anyways, great report and keep killing the kings, you guys run a top notch guide service.

AkKings,
Thanks for the fishing report. I'm coming up to waterfall the first week in August and love to hear fishing reports leading up to my visit. This will be my first time to Waterfall, but I've been to POW many times when Whales Resort was operating. Looking forward to more reports in the future.

I'm at the resort! We have 3 computers that are shared with 85 crew and 85 guests, needless to say, I don't get much computer time.
Took some crew members out this morning for a couple hours, hooked 8 kings, brought 6 to the boat, all but 1 were 18-20 pounders that we released, did keep 1 that went 37lbs.
