Vedder river
      #25 - 11/18/99 09:16 PM

This year was the first time we, my son's and I, fished the Vedder river in Canada. We had some really great times and caught many fish. Pinks, Chum, and of course "White Kings". My 2nd son, Tony, caught a white that went 32lb's, it was the only one we kept. Although most of our fishing is done right here in Snohomish county, we enjoyed seeing a different river and will be going back for steelhead in January and February. Has anyone else been to the Vedder or Canada to fish? got any tips, or stories?

I've wanted to fish up there for quite a while but don't know when that will happen. I've always read that the pink worm or spoons work well. Good luck to you and your sons. Let us know how you did when you return.

Where did you fish the Vedder and what was the driving time from Everett? What kind of cost is there for licensing and where did you get the license? Most of all did you tell any one up there that you were a Yank, and if so how were you received? I'd like to fish this next year so any info you can pass on is sure welcome, thanks.
