The weather has not been the best with wind blowing 25 plus and higher gust and lots of rain. we have been sitting on the beach a lot
we did get out for a few hours to day.

As Grizz said, the weather has been against us. Been out a bit, but no red meat thus far. Caught several rock fish [C&R]. Saturday we started out for the butt and crabbing grounds but after 1.5 miles in rough seas turned back figuring the next 8 miles would be hell and conditions would be poor for fishing and crabbing. Sunday was calmer and we managed to get out there for an enjoyable day on the water. Our talley for the day was 2 butts in the box [not including my trophy], plus 9 nice sized dungees. Spent some time on the water today but not much action....score = 1 more butt in the box caught while trolling for salmon....go figure. 
Warren, Janine and Doug have been outstanding hosts/hostess and we are truly grateful that they are sharing their bit of paradise with us.
