Shark fishing. new
      #251244 - 06/28/06 11:39 PM

Just got done planing my yearly Alaska adventure. I will be spending a few days on the Kenai chasing silvers and a couple of days getting some white meat (halibut). But the focus of this years trip is going to be the salmon shark fishing. Did it last year out of Seward and it was flat a blast. Talk about fun!

The Reel News had an article on them. They use 8 lb. cut plug Silvers for bait. The pictures should be amazing, can't wait to see them.

Hope you guys are planning on fishing from a bigger boat this time. I've seen a couple shows on this and it does look like fun.
