I love the 'O'dark thirty' run up. UW put flashing lights on their O2 sensors but none on the logs and stray docks. Makes for fun ride!

a little early from what I seen this weekend, goose.
The 3 barely legal blackmouth that i caught were already showing signs of warm water meat. If you hit it bring lots of ice. water temp down there was 68 to 72

Agreed that it is a bit early...bigger fish will be showing in more numbers. Thanks for saving the Killer whales from those blackmouth Bill.

Green/white Point Wilson darts jigging or silver scalelite dodger and a green glow coyote spoon are standards. BonkerBill has dialed in on these fish so he may have better info. I try to get in a couple hours a week down at Lilliwaup trying from the beach....float and marabou jig with a small herring fillet is what I am trying. No luck yet...just experimenting the past couple years.

Hmmmm....I'm out until the Quill run comes in. Lost power on bait freezer and there was an exothermic reaction between the eggs cured with borax and those cured with MSG, sodium nitrite, and several other chemicals. Luckily I know the local sheriffs deputies so the issue of having a Meth lab went away quickly. Bad chemical smell raised concerns with visitors.

Pink shrimp seem like a natural ticket for these fish when fishing from the bank. Should be able to get some for around a dollar a pound.
