Found this little guy on my deck when I got home, a first time outta the nest swallow...they nest every year in this little corner cranny of my roof....funny thing is he rolled out of the nest about a week ago into my gutter...mom and pops have been feeding from his new home...now he's come on down and after takin this pic is now...in flight...he's flown the coop...

Don't you know it Tony, i've cleaned up the deck this last weekend...just in time as I hope they're gone...sure love sittin out there watching em do their acrobats and jousting...always next year....found one last week from the same nest that wasn't so lucky...couldn't fly or glide only drop, rolled out of the nest, over the gutter (i assume) and onto the wood deck...not much smaller than this one. At lest one made it.
