not sure if anyone on the board hunts nevada, but the draw results are out. looks like the jakester pulled antlered deer in area 051. if anyone has hunted this area in the past, i'd appreciate any info you'd care to offer.

Jake good for you NV holds some big critters I don't know much about 051 as I haven't hunted that particular unit. I struck out on all 6 apps for NV. I would check out the MM forums. Good luck.

thanks, sky. 051 was our second choice. just blew seven bonus points so i hope it pans out. when i spoke with the bio for that area, he said it's not traditionally known as a monster buck area, but after a couple wet springs antler growth took off and some contenders have been showing up the past couple seasons. here's hoping!

I had no luck with my Nevada draw. I applied for deer and elk. There are definately some monsters of both species there.
