My buddy is finally getting smart and selling his house in California, and moving back to Idaho. last night He dropped off his 2 springers for me to board for a few weeks. It was originally going just to be the pup, but the 11 year old dog and my 12 year old daughter hit it off so well, we ended up with both dogs. My springer can be a handful some times. She is actually responding quite well to the additional pups in "her" space.
The only gripe I have is I can't do anything without tripping over the whole pack of dogs. They love me, and follow me around everywhere. I was making coffee this morning, and almost fell down as I was turning to put the coffee away. 3 springers wrapped around my legs.
I have a feeling it is going to be an interestig few weeks...

My gawd Trouble has grown 5 inches this week. Joe one Springer can get outta hand and I can only imagine what 3 is like  Are going to kennel all of them up together?

My poor kid. All 3 dogs trying to sleep on her bed, doesn't leave room for her. I had to kick 2 dogs off her bed last night just so she had room to sleep. She thinks they all love her. They just love the A/C, fan, and soft bed.

I cant imagine a house full of any kind of Spaniel for a few weeks! Thats a lot of energy. You are a good man Joe! Last week kobie the wonder dogs' litter mate sis spent the week with us. Fat lard Kobie (the white mass on the right)takes up as much space as a person and Schizo Holly has more energy than my 4 year old who can be seen in the background bouncing off the couch.

Things are back to normal (as normal as they ever get) around my place. TJ and Josephine are back with their daddy. Maggie is lonely though. In a few weeks hunting season kicks off, and we'll all be playing together chasing Quail. She can't wait, and either can I .

Ron don't tell me about energy  Trouble the wonder dog is pure lab! The other day I came home and it was snowing in my house. She has figured out that if she shreds a whole roll off TP and puts infront of the AC vent it can be quite entertianing  Not once but twice! My [**whoops**] paper is now in a drawer

Mike, you have the smartest dog in town! See, we have a large tissue mill here. She is just trying to keep John and I employed and have a little fun at the same time.
I had a golden retriever that behaved like trouble. He was aptly named Bongo Ranger. That dog had a thick skull and felt absolutely no pain so he would chew,dig and claw anything. He was an endless source of income for the Vet.
I figured I was a pretty good trainer and took that little pedigreed reject from a couple who couldnt handle him thinking that with time, patience and a little work I could make something out of him. I gave him to a guy with some land and last I heard he was still happily kickin ass on a herd of feral cats out on Tom Beal road.
Hang in there, she will be worth the trouble.
