Fished Knudson Cove, north of Ketchikan, yesterday afternoon. With the exception of a couple squalls that came through briefly, the weather was great.
Here I am with a nice blackmouth that I caught.
Grizz with a nice silver that we pity-poled him.  
My son Travis, with one of two nice silvers he put in the boat, plus he caught a nice Chum.
Here's our catch for the afternoon. Grizz claimed that they were all his because they were caught on his rods. [The jury is still out on that decision. ] Besides these we caught and released 3-4 shakers, and some Humpies that apparently followed me up from Herring Cove.
Two more days in paradice and then Travis and I head home and the Grizz Den "Vacancy" sign is turned back on.

Herring Cove still stacked thick with humpies. Caught several this morning. Got tonight's pot of chili cooked...time to head into town for a big breakfast and then head to one of the local lakes which presumably may hold some silvers. 
Hopefully, on our way through town we'll have an opportunity for a Kodak moment....there's a large standing mount of a polar bear outside one of the shops. When Travis first saw it he started quivering like a Kentucky leg dog. Maybe get some porn shots if we can get the tourists to clear a path for him.

Can't seem to get away from the humpies. Wade Lake and the headwaters were loaded with them. Nice scenic location as you can see from these two pics.
 
Headed from there back into town for our "date" with a bear...
Travis found another friend at a shop down the street...
Thoroughly worn out from our adventures, we headed back to the Grizz Den but made one last stop as Warren recommended. Although I didn't believe Grizz at first, I became a believer when I pulled the finger on this totem...Geez that was rank!

Good weather forecast for Knudson Cove, and coincidently, Grizz came up with a bad case of anal glaucoma and missed work today. Fortunately he was able to get out with us for our last day up here.
Just like the other day, started with a bang in the first few minutes and then slowed down. To start, my rod had a solid takedown and the fish felt like a good one, but it was off in a matter of seconds. Then, within a couple minutes Warren's rod was throbbing and he brought in a nice silver. Lots of water was covered in the ensuing time and our final total was 5 in the box...4 nice silvers and a token humpie. Her's some random pics from the day, including one with Warren and his prize shaker that was thrown back. Warren wanted the shaker picture taken to show that he's trying to keep up with Mojo and Southfork.
