Ok guys its time for a nothern WA flotilla for DB's and sleds!
The idea is the Sky/Snoqualmie for the weekend of the 11-12 of January.
Just wanna here if we have many interested in it! Fishing should be good!!!

That's where I popped my steel cherry! I would like to join in the festivities. It would be great to meet some other fisher people. My buddies definitely aren't though they try... So learning new tricks from some of you is at the top of my list! I am a bank maggot though. So if someone has an open spot I would gladly pay gas or something to that effect! If not no problem. I can bank it and it would still be good to meet up with every one for a beer and stories after...

Been wanting one at the Sky.
Ideas for camping, motels,rv parks etc. will be needed.
*if anyone has a camping lot at goldbar nature trails, that would be a good place for a get together for food etc. (just an idea)

Well lets see we have the Stevens Pass motel here in Goldbar I think rooms are 39.99$ and there is a motel in sultan that has about the same rates. Mrs ynotfish and myself are in for flotilla but we are bankers also so I will kindly ask you sledders not to blow over our fishing holes or throw beer cans (unless full of course) J/K ![[Smile]](images/icons/smile.gif)

There is also the campground at Wallace falls State Park and One on ben howard rd. between monroe and sultan this one is about a mile from boat launch

Look out when Bigdog says he has a bunk for ya. I know of places to camp for you cold weather buffs on the Ben Howard road. It would be on the south side of the river between Sultan and Manroe. I can get some details if there is interest after all that is what Flotillas are all about.....

Walace Falls State Park sounds like it could be a good meeting place and camp ground. I am looking into it to see if there is a place that we could have a after flotilla potluck.
I am getting some links together that should help immensely.
We need to get some names together of people that have open seats in there boats whether that's a db or sled all seats shall be filled!!!! with both people and fish!
Lets hope the weather and river levels cooperate for us to get some brats.
Maybe a Team Flotilla?

Alot of Great Ideas!!
A few things I am wondering
*the State Parks are closed I believe...??yes? no?
*The campground on ben howard is that the RV Park?
and If so is it not private?(maybe someone can go talk with them) we can print their name and info on flyer as a sponsor, If willing to allow us the days needed.
* If we had a canned food drive along with this thing It may help to get some strings pulled for camping etc. I can print flyers for it.
So who would we donate too?
*wiser brought up a Potluck Idea on the chat, and it is a great idea (I hope he brings that salsa) that shiat is good!!!! so any thoughts on that?
*I think we should have prizes/certificates for any kids participating.
*so I guess the first thing is ......where?
*you Goldbar/Sultan people If you can check the parks thing out, that would be a big help.
There should be motels enough to cover it, in the area.

The campground on the Ben Howard road out of monroe is a Leisure Time outfit and I am pretty sure it is private. Plus that place NEVER warms up in the winter!

finally a local flotilla,i cant wait till this one kicks off. as i know this rvr like the back of my hand from the bank. i have never floated it so if one of you sled jockeys has a seat for a bank maggot like me that would be cool.i think wango and i should do some recon with the locals and or farmers to see if we can borrow or rent a field or lot for the weekend. dunno but we should be able to figure somthin out. it will probably be real cold so chromeo and fs will be cuddled up for sure . So we have a local foltilla and I just sold my boat.Going to have to take lessons on how to be a boat HO .
So any bodie got a seat for a boat HO that has fished the sky for 20 years? I got good roe and know the river.

Howdy guys. I'm intrested in participating in this flotilla to but I will probally need a seat:( I don't have my boat up here yet, nowhere to store it. If anyone has a spare seat I'll pay for gas, and bring the grub.I just moved up to redmond, great getting to know everyone on chat. Now I can be a boat whore.
