me that is must be a record for sure.
Been real busy at work, a physical problem for 6 weeks, house projects, then son going off to college kept us busy all summer.
Need to get back into it soon, fly tying that is.
Any one got any new steelhead fly patterns ?

Got you beat by a country mile on that one Hal. I did tie up a couple micro-jigs a wk or so ago, but those were the first in a very long time. Where'd your boy end up going to school?

Yeah been so busy not tied for months but have so many dam flys could probably go ten years with out the need to tie anymore.
My youngest son who just graduated HS is at the University of Iowa - Big Ten.

He is on a partial academic scholarship could have played small college football but wanted to go to a Big Ten school with his grades, so now he is playing with them numerous Iowa blondes and going to Hawk eye games. Yes Black and Gold are colors just like his high schools colors. We attemded the 1st game Montana vs Iowa. They will be on national TV this saturday night undefeated Buckeyes vs undefeated Hawkeyes, ESPN game day in Iowa City. Going to be quite an event for him to experience. I hope he is sobor.
