Thanks, but this is the first B-day in maybe 4 years I have not been on a river fly fishing.
Too much work.
I guess I can now say that I have 47 years of fly fishing experience though, sad to say, but glad I am healthy.

Thanks Jerry been so busy with work and other stuff did not realize it was my birthday until the day before it, then let it quietly go by at work, no one said a thing, nice and quiet not on the radar screen.
Hope all is well, I need to open up the fly bench and pull the long rods out again. As silver is coming in to the rivers.

29.5 years!! And what do you have to show for it, besides 3 lovely (but college age, draft age, too!) boys and a nice home!!
Life is tough. Go out and enjoy some fishing, come home, eat a nice meal, shower and go to bed. You won't be disturbed by the wife.
Hell, fishing is more fun anyway. No backtalk, no "holding it over your head"!
You should see what life is like for a widower! All the kids are graduated from college (and graduate school!) I hardly have time for fishing and bird and deer hunting - and the "welcome backs" by my "female friends" are outstanding, but I don't get much sleep!
Oh, well, such is life for a "desireable batchelor" and I am enjoying every second of it! (Where in hell were all these women when I was i6!)

To paraphrase an old joke: two fellows sitting at a bar sipping on . Guy says to the other 'I'm thinking about divorcing my wife, she hasn't spoken to me in almost 6 months.' Other fellow gazes into his beer, looks up and says, 'You might want to reconsider .. women like that are hard to find.'
