Managed Recoil
      #264073 - 10/19/06 08:16 PM

I picked up some 7MM Managed-Recoil cartidges today.
Has anyone shot any? I will give them a try before I hunt with them but it says 50% less recoil and My neck will thank me and less stars.
I will need to use standard rounds for Elk but why hurt my self
shooting deer.

I haven't used any. Since I reload, I'd just use a lighter bullet and less powder which I guess is managed recoil!

I've never really worried about recoil hunting, but I can't see any reason to use Elk loads for Deer.

Well the light Recoil do take the edge off so I tried a standerd round and I had no stars with it.
For the last 5 years I have been able to shoot with out seeing stars after and no stars at all Looks like my neck is back
now I need to work on flatting out all the hill I walk up and down yesterday.
