Any plans on a XST1086 Karry? I really want to try on of these out, but I have way more than enough rods in the other designs offered right now.

No on the XST1086 because these rods are made to be light and sensitive and when most folks look at a rod like the 1086 they want tuff and durable. Check out our ISA1086 its everything your looking for in a light King rod I dont think I could make it any better. Also we just added a few Harvest King Sticks the ISA1027 and 1087. If you get a chance to Float fish for Kings check out the new XST1264 what a blast.
I think there will be two more XST1143 going out this week to washington thanks for the support Steve.

Thanks Karry, that's exactly what I was looking to do. I wanted a rod that would double for float fishing and side driftin when the crowds get too big. I've been meaning to get a ISA1086, but wanted to try the new XST's.

I'm looking at buying a couple of these blanks. Can you guys post a couple pictures of guide wraps that you've done? I'm trying to decide on guides and thread colors. Thanks

I did up a few the one I fell in Love with was the Gudebrod 0246 Dark blue with Silver metallic trim bands using the Forecast LTCUDUG with the LTCFUG the Tich on the frame matches the blank and the Blue ring guides with the Blue thread bleed meaning no color prserver touns down the blank color just Rite. Check out the new Quantum PT 7 to 1 Burner has a good match to the ring and blank color.

Thanks for the advice; it sounds nice and I'll have to think about colors again. I was looking at the Forecast LTCVSCG Tich guides and Tich reelseat with metallic ice blue wraps and silver trim. Or garnet thread with no CP and silver trim. Hmmm... decisions. I also bought a Rainshadow IFS904 flipping blank for next summer's bass fishing and I plan on putting the black chrome/blue zirc guides on it and wrapping it with black or pewter thread with metallic blue trim.

Yeah, I probably be getting one soon! Dad just deserves it first, since he retired yesterday with 33 years of service. Now I will get the boat rod back.

I just finished two XST1084s and like them even more than the IST1084s. In fact, they may be the nicest light to medium Steelhead rods that I have ever had my hands on. I think that it is a better blank than the G. Loomis SH1084 IMX, which has a very simular action, at about twice the price.

XST1263 or XST1264 both will do some damage on Steel. Got Harvest?? Rayan's first impression of the XST built up was dam thats light and then I told him it was 10'6" LOL.Hey Tom you should take a break and build up a few and the best thing is you can still have a few while you are waiting for the glue to dry!
