This year's whitetails
      #264336 - 10/22/06 08:02 PM

Mrs Nav and I made our annual trek to Colville for whitetails on the cousin's ranch.
Opening morning we watched a couple of 3 pointers, and a bunch of does, then this nice buck walked out behind us, and stopped behind a small pine. I could just see his head/shoulder, so held back a bit for lung, and down he went. This is the largest whitetail I have been fortunate enough to shoot. They don't get real big over there, so this is a real dandy for that area.

Mrs. Nav's Cuz Monte. (our local guide!! )

After getting the work done, and having breakfast, we headed out again.
Mrs Nav had a doe tag, so just on our way back in for lunch, we finished up for the season.

Lots of good grain fed eats in the freezer, and I am tickeled with the horns!!!
