It is my shorthairs third year and he is working great. It was a lot of fun watching him do his thing. Its weekends like this that make it all worth while.

looks like the combo of jacket and brush/weeds tore up his armpits tho, might need some salve to help it heal
pics like these make me miss our ol GSH, Simon- man could that dog hunt everything from birds to deer, even when riding bitch in the truck he spotted deer

I got the vest because he tore his chest open twice last year but the damn thing made his armpits raw. I'm not going to be using it anymore.

I have had the same problem with my shorthair cut chest or raw armpits. Same damn vest. Let me know if you find a good answer around it. But even a little torn up he still apears to work, nice pics.
