Colorado Elk new
      #261051 - 09/24/06 11:05 PM

My nephew Ricky, on the right and his friend Dave went to Colorado and got these two nice bulls. They both scored over 340 green. A couple of happy hunters.

Na, but they were able to bring Ricks back for pic's at the ranch house. It was rolling hills with grass bottoms and timbered hill tops, they caught Ricks headed back for the trees at daylight. The big boy had quite a harem, they said.

I'd shoot either one if they showed up in my backyard! Nice Bulls...ummm...which one do you consider the "big boy"?

the big boy, huh? i would have to call them both that. fared better than our hunt this year...been trying for 6 years to get Murderers Creek, Oregon tags and finally got it this year (10 people in party) missed 1 350 class bull, 1 300 class bull, and a raghorn forked horn bull (3 of us shot at that one from 70 yards away standing on a road)

the elk count was 16 for the 5 days, so we had our chance and have no excuse :-)
