In case you rod builders or potential rod builders have not heard there is new organization being formed and will be introduced at the International Rod Building Exposition in High Point NC february 17 and 18. It is called Rod Builders International. Its first objectives are to start increasing the awaireness on the part of the fishing public of custom built rods by running advertisements in several national publications. It will also be introducing some new software technology for on line training that will train beginning rod builders and will also assist experienced rod builders with up-dating their skills. This is unlike anything that has been done in the past and something that every custom rod builder whether hobbiest or professional should be very interested in.
What about the rod builders guild ? Is't that similar , they even have a certification test . I kind of like that idea . Is there any information available online for this organization now ?
