2007 Spring Chinook Trip Lewis River
      #279436 - 02/27/07 08:19 PM

Well as some of you do and don't know I'm now a full time guide. Some of you have had the opportunity to fish with me in the past but Spring Chinook time is coming quick and my prime dates are filling fast and I wanted to share a prime date with steelheader.net and give back to this site and help keep this board running!

I'm putting up for auction a trip for 4 (valued at $680) for the highest bidder. Last year the Lewis Springer run peaked on May 6th and for the 2 week span surrounding that date we averaged 7 fish on per day. The run forecast is very similar to last year so we should see very similar results.

The fishing date chosen will be Monday May 7th . We will spend 90% of the day fishing Ultimate Egg Cure eggs/shrimp combo's, UEC Prawns and the occassional herring. It will be a hands on fishing trip where we will be hover fishing and back bouncing most holes.

The auction starts now and will end at 9pm on Sunday March 11th.

Good luck and happy bidding! If you'd like to see the boat we will be fishing from or pictures from the past check out my website below!

OK, ok.... How good do you really think I am on the Lewis?? Fall Chinook are a piece of cake and.... Well yes the Springers are twice as good of biters so ...."IF" the Spring Chinook show like the WDFW expects them too I'd bet it will be limits by noon with a group of average to better fisherman...

I'm considering offering a reward for the SH.net member that gets SGM to smile and show teeth in a fishing picture.

The only time the SGM shows his teeth is when he is chewing some poor soldiers butt. You can almost see his teeth when you cracker a nice fish.

No doubt you're very good on the NFL (and elsewhere for that matter)
And I don't think you'r gonna find a better fish-catching crew than those in the photo
Just saying it's approaching my budget.
If I can't play with the Big Dogs, I'll try to bow out gracefully!

An someone, sometime, will have a camera ready when shows his teeth
