I will have to scane the Pic. but my cousin and I found a set like that a few years ago up by Winchester. I will see if I can find the pics. Those are both nice deer!! LIL

Too bad...I think it happens more than we realize.
I saw a pair of antelope hooked up like that over in eastern Oregon one year while hunting mulies. I didn't have a 'lope tag, so I went back to camp and found a guy who did. We went back to where they were and he tagged one of them. The other bounded away after the first one went limp.
I think it was the right thing to do as they clearly were unable to unlock horns on their own.

if a guy can get the game dept. involved soon enough, they can dart the two animals. then saw off the tines to free them. been told that once bucks/bulls lock there is no seperating them. i saw a pic a few years back, a buck was sporting a head and rack on top of his. the buck had decapitated the other.

I'm sure that happens more than people think, especially with white-tails and all their gnarly tines. It's a brutal existence, but amazing to see. That would make a sweet mount.

that deer mount is in the sprotsmans werehouse in silverdal. way cool. the whole story is there with it aswell. Jim W
