Cook the fillets any way you want, their pretty hard to mess up. Personal prefrence is to batter and deep fry. Good luck.

Dip in egg, roll in bread crumbs, pan fry!!! If you need some help I could come show you how. I would have to test a whole bunch of it first to make sure I was cooking it right!
That is some goooood eating fish.

Walleye taste like dog crap..... bring them all to me and I'll dispose of them properly...

Any Luck? I caught three Saturday (my first time being up the Arm) and 6 today. A couple 16"ers and biggest was just under 19" the rest were all 11"-13"

Spinner rig & nightcrawler are a great starter for a first timer walleye fishing. Stick baits like thunderstick's
rapala's and a good old wiggle wart.
For cooking dust fillet with flour dip in butter milk roll
in ritz crack crumbs then deepfry.

Well was just '8' short of a limit...did catch and release what looked like a brook trout that took a 'walleye-pop' spinner thing trolled with nightcrawler...tried the dropshotting, friends used jigs/crawlers and everything else in the boat but we couldn't seem to make anything happen, it was a little frustrating after a long drive and rainy day....for someone trying to figure it out would trolling with a bottom walker and spinner/walleye pop with crawler set up be 'easiest' - do you for the most part want to stay right on the bottom with whatever your using? ...fishingmom

Try soaking you fillets a hour in buttermilk, and them dip them in Krustez pancake mix. Then fry them up....simple and very good.
Troll with a spinner and worm harness, always in contact with the bottom. You'll lose a little gear, but, it you aren't losing gear, you ain't walleye fishing.
