I'm planning on using my 6wt fly rod and (poppers?) Also some heavier streamers, with hare hide tails, mouse sims, and weedless bug flies. None of that list made any sense did it? That's what happens when doing SH while in a meeting.

My last post was in response to troutheads post. I didnt know you were talking flyfishing, I have never flyfished. But I have saw some people do good on topwaters but that was alot later in the summer.

It all made sense to me. A 6 wt. seems a little light in the weeds especially using mice and bunny tails. I didn't see a frog listed? Anyhow, try the streamers and leach patterns in the afternoon. If the fish are up getting warm they should bite those patterns. Post Pics.
