Special reg' for the Quil Marty. It specifically states that the fish must be hooked inside the mouth.

Yooow! I was hanging on to a rooster tail and my dog got curious. She came up to investigate the smelly old thing... just sniffing. I was watching to make sure she didnt bite it. Well she must have tapped it and got a poke in the snout cause when she jerked, one of the three hooks grabbed the inside of her left nostrile.... then the chaos ensued. She freaked out, pawing at it, rubbing into the floor, sneezing, bouncing off the walls pretty much. By the time i got a hold on her, all three points of that trebel were inside her nose, clinging to the sides. Poor girl was shaking like a leaf. Had to hang on to her to keep her from pawing at it until we got to the ER for doggies. They had to put her under to remove it.

Ah man. That is no fun.
Last year my cats knocked down some of my leader rolls off the counter into the floor. My Pitbull thought "oooh, foamy colored chew toys!"
Well needless to say, she got hooked in the mouth. My wife's crying, my Pit is pissed off growling and snapping at me as I am trying to grab the hook with a pair of 9" linesman pliers to push it through the lip so I can cut the barb off.
I did end up pushed it through and clipping the barb but not after hog tying her.
You don't want to get your hand stuck in there.
Ok the hog tying picture was for fun...I actually had to pin her down. It's crazy how a 47lb pitbull can buck a 135lb man 3' in the air like a raging bull. Maybe that's how they got the name pitBULL.
