Tom Kirkman puts out an excellent book for the beginning rod builder. As far as more advanced thread art, Doc Ski, or Clemmens have some good stuff. Go to any of the rodbuilder suppliers and look at their list's.

Flex coat step by step rod building and Start to finish Fly rod building come in books or DVD. Try Utmost enterprises, Shoff Tackle or Anglers Work shop. I won the Doc Ski video at the rod building show at Lamiglass over the weekend but I'm keeping it as a collecters item because he is one of the finest if not the finest rod builder in the world.
