Me, my son and a good friend went and fished off the Westport Boardwalk on Sunday and caught some real nice rockfish. They took a little bit to get started but once that tide got to about mid height it was fish on with every cast. This weekend is opening day for the lakes but I think I might take a few hours out of the weekend to catch a few more. They make the best fish and chips.
