your options are great in tilly, though, unfortunately, there are no secrets. you have the trask, wilson and kilchis right in tilly, all good drift boat rivers at certain times, there is also tillamook river and the miami river, good bank rivers. just south of tilly is the nestucca river, another great...the shakedown.....the trask is good for springers may-june, fall chinook sept-december, winter steel jan-april. the wilson is same as trask but they have summer steel as well, starting in may-aug, and again at the first rain through nov. the kilchis is good for fall chinook nov-december, latest run in those parts, and also have a c&r chum rum in nov, there are also winter steelhead there in jan-april, it clears fast too and gets real low quick. the nestucca has fish year round, winter steel nov-may, spring chinook may-july, summer steel may- august, then after rain, again it gets good through nov. fall chinook aug-december. hope that helps some, if you don't work and you live in tillamook, you can catch fish everyday of the year unless it's flooding. there is also a good keeper sturgeon fishery there too... i hope i didn't talk you out of moving there.

Sometimes I wonder why I choose to live so far inland... especially with reports like that one.

I will be in Tillamook next and would love to catch some Oregon fins! Any suggestions on where and how, even a guide?

Thanks, Pgritton
