Last Weekend for Kings new
      #287034 - 04/27/07 10:53 AM

I'm going to head out of Ever-rot tomorrow and try to see if I can't get a king in these last few days of the season. Anyone have any success this winter in 8-1 or 8-2?

Also, if we get bored, are there any places we could go for something besides dogfish, like rockfish or something. I'm pretty much a greenhorn out there so any info would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Limit for rockfish is 1 so not really worth the effort. Head over to Cultus Bay off the southwest side of Whidbey and load up on flounders.

Sorry, I haven't been. Maybe before the end of the weekend.

You could drop a bait(shrimp pieces, worms) to the bottom in the racetrack (between gedney and camano island) at about 50-70 feet and catch some flat fish.

Well, we got out there and hit 3 shakers, no keepers. Awesome day to be on the water though.
