Long time no report because I haven't been out. I finally went out today to attempt for Ling Cod, and you guessed it the forecast wasn't very close! The original goal was to go to Possession Bar in Area 9 out of Everett starting at 5 AM, but the bay was way too rough for my boat to go that far especially since they were forecasting higher velocity N winds. Well, I could have gone, but if the winds were any stronger on Possession, the fishing wouldn't have been so fun.

So, we messed around Hat Island and Camano Head. No Ling Cod but a bunch of flatfish and one ratfish released. Believe it or one of these little flatfish hit a black label herring.

There were a bunch of shrimpers out, btw.
