Anyone try hitting up the Tulalip bubble since it opened? I've heard it's real slow out there...just curious.

I haven't been there, but was thinking about going. I guess you made up my mind. On the other hand, it's always slow up there!

If we had our fish finder back from the repair shop, Thomas and I would be up there for sure!
Getting ticked at the Lowrance people. It has been two months they have had our fish finder, with the parts on back order.

I thought I would try it this coming Friday. I got my Yamaha serviced at Bayside Outboard last week. Those guys said they got 3 the first couple days it was open and zero since then. Not much last weekend, 2 nooks for 48 on Sunday.

We were going to go today until I read the fine print and went DOH! Guess we are going to have to wait on Salmon fishing in the Sound until next month.
Having a life other than fishing sucks! Though I can't complain too much, since I get to go to the ICAST fishing convention next month.

I'm trying to hold my water until Possession opens on 7/16. A buddy and I thought about going to Sekiu next week but it will be a complete zoo, salmon opening, halibut still open, 4th of July etc. I called Olsons this AM, first come first served on RV spots, she said "if there is room".
Troll the eastside of Possession on the ebb, west side and SW corner on the flood. May give Point No Pt a shot on the ebb, mooch near the lighthouse, DRs further west away from moochers. I used to do pretty well at Pilot Pt on the flood, "back in the day".
I've gotten kind of tired of driving all over the place and staying in a motel to use my boat. This year two trips to Port Angeles for butts, two to the Columbia, two to the Willamette, plus two trips coming up to Uclulet. Real nice to do something local. Making plans, buying some more gear which I dont need but I'm addicted to fishing gear. Reminds me I need to make another trip to Outdoor Emporium.
Hot Spots/squid/big 6'0 Coyote, maybe some big Tomics trolled real fast and deep. Go get 'em! DR cable looks OK but I did redo the connections.

Yeah, we are ready too. I think we finally got Kings dialed in last year, and not that we have our Lowrance back from the shop we might actually bring home some fish.
You might check out Elliot's Outdoors on 33rd by the Mall in Lynnwood. He should be getting his Salmon stuff in pretty soon. If he doesn't then start bugging him to get it ordered.
