Just got home for some R&R. I'll be returning back to the lodge in two weeks. Here are a couple of shots from our first few weeks fishing. The view from the beach at the lodge. Our biggest king so far at 62lbs. Kind of surprising to get one this big this early. Butt fishing as usual has been consistent. Limits of halibut have been the norm, not as many big ones though. Our largest so far is 140lbs. King fishing has been decent for first runs. I rowed the Kasilof a few times and caught some kings, dollies, sockeye, and steelhead. Also lots of eagles around the salt as the salmon are not in the rivers thick yet. All in all a good couple of first weeks.

Marty,
I am guiding out of Trophy King Lodge on the Kenai Peninsula. We are located right on the salt about halfway between Homer and Soldotna. Our main fishery is salmon and halibut on Cook Inlet. We also offer trips on the rivers as well, Kenai and Kasilof. We do flyouts across the inlet to Wolverine Creek and Kustatan (sp) rivers for silvers and bear viewing. Also rock fishing trips out of Homer. We still have availability for weeks this summer so if anyone is interested PM me. We may have some pretty good discounted rates available. This is a pretty nice lodge, not your average fishcamp.

Thanks, perhaps next year when I am not so house poor. Would love to see that area of the planet and its "fishery".
