Lake Kachess Kokes, etc. new
      #292155 - 06/13/07 10:30 AM

Hit Kachess a week ago to see if we could pick up some kokes (or anything else) trolling with small DRs and various wedding ring, lake troll set ups. No luck, but we saw plenty of big fish rising and a few jump. Anyone have an idea of how to fish this lake? We jigged, used the DRs, and toplined with no luck. However, it was 37 degrees, windy and wet.

TIA,

Bronc

I always wanted to try that lake myself, I hear it is overpopulated with squawfish which may have been what you saw jumping. Supposedly there are abundant kokes, but small. I imagine there are a few big Dollies in there also.

Didn't see any squaws, but it's possible. Caught a nice bull last summer trolling in the west little Kachess portion of the lake. Love to know some hot spots though.
