I got tired of trying to catch steelies in the rivers so I went out to the jetty in hopes of catching some fish, we caught alot of fish, just nothing big, it wasn't a good tide to be out there, big swing. Even though all we caught were little ones it was still fun and a beautiful day, heres a pic of one of the bigger ones we got.

Looked like a nice day out on the rocks. I haven't tried it for years but use to do well for surf perch off the finger jetties ringing Westport. The one behind Harbor Charters also produced nice lings.

I'll tell you what, I think those black rocks are some of the best eating rockfish out there!!!
