Also try off the beach at Fort Flagler state park on Marrowstone Island. The Port Townsend Ship Canal can also provide some interesting moments. Cross the bridge from the mainland to the Indian Island side. There's two county access sites.

Because the original design was so popular at Point Wilson?

The other similar local product that I don't see much of anymore is the Dungeness Stinger.

Swain's still carries them Goose! A small whole herring off of Point Wilson is what a buddy catches them on, with just enuff split shot to wing it out there and let it drift when there is a good current moving thru there! Also try a float and herring!

They also have the unpainted unrigged darts. Add your own split rings and hooks plus paint scheme. End cost is about a third of the finished pkgd ones.

We ended up "having" to buy Point Wilson Darts at Sekiu last time we were up. WOW! that was some sticker shock. I now have a 30 pound collection that I paid 3.50 or less a piece for. Shopping around, and buying them someplace a little coser to civilization pays off. So does shopping e-bay and keeping you eyes pealed for deal.

Ebay was a great source, and as would be expected, many of them were coming from sellers in British Columbia. I'll be loading B_Run and NoLuck down with my supply when they head to CQ this fall.
