Yup you did. Besides a great fishing trip I also provide one heck of a rod demo!! I think that day I had 12 diffrent Rainshadows aboard. The funniest coment I had was on the Lewis "Wow that boat had enough rods to start an Army". I love being in the rod busniess!

Steve, just got off the phone with Anglers, they still do not have the sturge decals in and do not know any expecting date on them! They said there supplier was supposed to have them to them on the 5th of may but they have not got them yet and that they do not know whats up with them except that the supplier isn't gettin them to them promptly! Want to go ahead and finish it up? I'm sure i can find an American Flag or a Rebel Flag to put in it or how about a topless mermaid for good luck decal? Or do u want to keep waitin on Anglers???

I built a 1264, worth every penny. Very surprisingly it's almost just as light as my 1261 gl2 loomis with way more backbone.

NIce to see some more action on this thread it was dead for awhile. Y a the XST1264 is my favorite. We are adding XST1024,XST1085 and XST1562 in two and three piece as well. They should be available in 2008.

No I dont think we will be doing the heavier rating rods in the RX8 material but if you want a fast action 1026 get the HS1023 or HS1025.. We will be introducing if all goes well in 2008 XST1562,XST1562-3,XST1024,XST1085....

Is the 1085 rated for 8 -17 or 10 -17 lb. line? Personally, I like the lighter tip action of the 8 - 17 lb.

10-17 if you like the lighter tip go with the XST1084 we tested that blank on some huge fish and handled perfectly.
