Think you're a tackle whore? new
      #297622 - 08/11/07 08:50 PM

For the fisherman who thinks he has everything! A few of these "zipperlip" beads were given to me at the Cowtilla, and some of you saw them. I was intrigued as to how they were made and tried making my own... YUCK!

Fishead5 worked day and night for weeks searching the internet world for these interesting nuggets and told me where to find them.

Now, you too can own some!

They are soft and rubbery 15 mm tubes. While not as buoyant as a corky, they do float. I can't vouch for their fish catching ability, but there is at least one guide on the Cowlitz currently using them and we know he catches fish.

These might just be THE hot bait at Seiku in September. You know how those silvers are.

You will receive 2 packages of 20 in the colors shown, for a total of 40 beads. Retail value on a quantity of less than 50 is .60 each plus shipping. Hopefully, you'll win this auction and get them much cheaper!!!

Let's start the bidding at $7.00 and the auction will end Monday, August 20 at 0800. All the money goes to Marty for site support, and I'll pay the shipping.

These "things" are drops of rubber or a soft, "worm" type plastic stuck on a flexible tubing. Those spikes are well formed, but soft.

And we all know how you love plastics.

Maddog wins!

I'm going to toss in a few extras, since your bid was so high. Send Marty some money and send me your snail mail and I'll get them out to you.

I was playing with a few of these and created a variation of a rag, but it looks more like a bug.

Have fun with these, and report back if you'd be so kind!

Thanks Maddog!
