Mouth of the Puyallup new
      #298823 - 08/23/07 08:29 AM

Went out on Tuesday after work..
Tons of pinks! just like bass fishing, Casted spinners about 2 feet off beach. I got 2 in about an hour. both around 5lbs. They definatly arnt kings, but fun to catch on lighter gear. They are all over the place, jumping and busting on the surface in less then 5 feet of water.

Shaun.

Nice report. That run seems to be getting better.

Light tackle is the way to go. It makes it fun. Try a fly rod. It is a blast!

I have 2 brand new never used float tubes. Maybe ill take one out there? So I dont have to pay the launch fee at pt. defiance. I could just park down at that park on Thea waterway and be right there. Im sure it would be extremley cold but Im young, I can handle it!
