The GOOD with the BAD new
      #299534 - 08/28/07 09:18 PM Attachment (0 downloads)

OK....it has been a hard week. Many DoDads. The worst was finding out my Duro boat is out of commish for some time. I have corrision that has resulted in many holes. Found this out launching at Salibury the other day. Before I knew it, I had a few inchesd of H2O in the boat. To make things worse, some @&* lost his load on the HWY and my trailer ran over it. Some damage but was able to bend out the metal to drive to the launch. Nothing was gong to stop my wife and I from fishing. We already had a few BAD things happen around the home. Good Old Murphy's LAW.

Went to PNP last night. Everyone was catchin fish but me. Tonight, I landed this nice coho. I would say 8-10lb. I released a small king. All other fish I saw were pinks. I left around 5pm and had the grill going by 6:30! It was well needed. Unfortunately my wife had a really bad day and my fish did not help. She is pissed she had to work, which turned out to be a bad day. I tried but just had to tell here how well the fish was hooked in its' mouth and how I used her rod and buzz bomb! My own doing.

This is a pic after I was home. It was cleaned in the field. The pic does not do it justice but you can see the beer bottle, opened after I got home!, and the size of the cooler. It was a nice fish. Hope to have another one tomorrow. Going with the fly rod!

Joker, that sucks about the boat, but you can do the repairs fairly easy yourself and it should'nt take very long. http://aluminumrepair.com/more_info.asp

Thanks for the info anuty. I've already placed an order. Everybody I talk too cannot believe the problem I have encounter. I take care of my stuff since I earned the cash to buy it. Might need to retire this to fresh water. Could be a really good reason to buy a new boat! It will be FIBERGLASS!!!
