Seiku or Willipa bay?
      #301698 - 09/13/07 06:18 PM

My brother wants to go to the coast in a couple of days. He asked me quality or quanity? Seiku for coho, or Willipa bay for big kings. I have never been to either place. I know that the nets will be going in soon at willipa. Any input on either place would help a lot. Anyone who has been fishing at one or the other could help with a report. Thanks guys.

Reports from Willipa Bay are very slow and the nets go in either Saturday night or Sunday. That will kill that fishery. Sekiu is the place to go!!

Good luck and tight lines, Jeff

Sekiu it is then. We will take off on Tuesday morning. Hope its worth the trip. I have had a heck of a season in the south sound this year. It will be nice to sea the open water though. Thanks for the tips.
